Proxy servers kya hote hai? Explained in simple Hindi

Proxy ek intermediate server hota hai jo user aur destination server ke beech communication ko handle karta hai. Jab aap kisi website ya server se data retrieve karte hain, toh aapka request pehle proxy server tak jata hai, phir proxy server destination server se data retrieve karta hai aur aapko bhejta hai. Yeh ek tarah ka "gateway" hota hai jo user aur destination server ke beech communication ko route karta hai.

• 1. Security:
  Proxy servers security ke liye use hote hain taki direct communication se bacha ja sake. Woh malicious content aur attacks ko detect kar sakte hain, aur user ko safe rakhte hain.
• 2. Privacy:
  Proxy servers user ki privacy ko bhi maintain karte hain kyunki destination server ko user ka direct IP address nahi pata chalta. Isse user ki identity protect hoti hai.
• 3. Content Filtering:
  Schools, colleges, organizations, aur governments apne network par content filter karne ke liye proxy servers ka use karte hain. Isse unhe control milta hai ki kya content access kiya ja sakta hai aur kya nahi.
• 4. Caching:
  Proxy servers data ko cache kar sakte hain, jisse repetitive requests ke liye response time improve hoti hai. Agar kisi user ne kuch data access kiya hai, toh proxy server us data ko cache karke rakh sakta hai, aur agar doosra user wahi data access karna chahe toh proxy server usko cache se serve kar sakta hai.
• 5. Access Control:
  Organizations apne network par access control maintain karne ke liye proxy servers ka use karte hain. Proxy servers decide karte hain ki kaun kaun se resources tak access kiya ja sakta hai.
• 6. Load Balancing:
  Multiple servers ke beech load balance karne ke liye bhi proxy servers ka use hota hai. Proxy server decide karta hai ki kaunsa server kis request ka handle karega, jisse load evenly distribute ho.

Proxy servers HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, ya kisi aur protocol ke liye use ho sakte hain, aur unke alag-alag types hote hain jaise ki forward proxy, reverse proxy, transparent proxy, etc.
