Link rot use kehte hai jab hyperlinks (yaani URLs) jo web pages mein use hote hain, woh invalid ho jate hain ya unka content unavailable ho jata hai. Iska matlab hai ki jab aap ek web page par visit karte hain aur usme kisi specific link par click karte hain, to agar wo link ka content ya destination page ab available nahi hai (yaani 404 error), to uss condition ko link rot kehte hain.
